But how do these variations of the Xbox 360 compare?
While all three are similar with respect to their features and specifications, it all boils down to two differences: colour and hard disk.
All Xbox 360 packages include a games console, wireless controller and headgear. In addition, all Xbox 360 packages provide hybrid video and power cable as well as DVD playback complete with upscaling. The Xbox 360 Arcade is the more basic of all the models. For this reason on the face of it, it is the cheaper of all the current Xbox 360s. Complete with all the standard features mentioned before, the black Xbox 360 Elite comes out of the box with a 120GB hard disk built in. Will this be enough memory to perform a high resolution gaming function? The answer is a resounded 'yes'! In fact we'd be surprised if you ever exhaust this level of memory when loading and playing all the latest games on the market today.
The black Xbox 360 Super Elite provides all the capabilities and essentials of the Elite but carries with it an additional 130GB of memory. With 250GB of storage, the Super Elite goes that extra mile as well as providing an extra wireless controller however the liklihood is that the Xbox 360 Elite offers all and more than you are ever likely to need from a gaming console.
The bottom line...
Question: Which of the three Microsoft Xbox 360s on the market today is by far the best buy? Answer: The Xbox 360 Elite. It delivers the goods on gaming performance and is the best value for money.
